The Early Beginning:
Mohamed was born at 15th October 1987 in Cairo, Egypt. He started to learn swimming at the age of 7. Until the age of 12, swimming was as a summer hobby. Afterwards, he got occupied with school and studying, which took him away from doing sports. However, at the age of 19, in 2006, it was the turning point for him to get back in sports, as he got his first two medals in swimming at the (1st Arab Universities Youth Week 2006) champion. Starting from that point, he joined Mansoura Stadium Swimming Team.

Mohamed was very committed to his workout program. He was training daily for 6 hours. After 3 years of dedication and hard work, he achieved several personal records:
- 50 meters butterfly in 27 seconds
- 50 meters freestyle in 25 seconds
- 100 meters freestyle in 56 seconds
During these 3 years, he participated in many University competitions and he achieved many top ranks. At the age of 22, in 2009, he joined Police Club Fins Swimming Team for one year. And after that, he moved to Kuwait.
The Triathlon Career:
Mohamed is so passionate about swimming. His move to Kuwait did not stop him from his favorite sport. Moreover, his passion in sport expanded as he started running alongside to swimming. He continued to participate in many local swimming and running competitions and scoring top ranks.
While doing so, his first exposure to the triathlon world was in 2015 where he participated in a triathlon race as a team member swimming leg.
- January 2016: He participated in Ironman70.3 Dubai as a team member swimming leg. It was the day that he got hocked up to the triathlon and decided to do the Ironman70.3 race individually.
- April 2016: he bought his first road bike and in May 2016, he participated in his first triathlon race (Sprint Distance – 750m swimming, 20k cycling, and 5k running).
- December 2016: He participated in Ironman70.3 Bahrain Middle east championship, scored the 4th place on his age group, and qualified to Ironman70.3 world championship Chattanooga, Tennessee, USA 2017.
- July 2017: During the preparation for the world championship, he got injured in his hip joint. The injury caused him to stop training for almost two months before the race. Nonetheless, that did not discourage him from following his plan. He continued his workout, only in the swimming discipline, and when the time came, he completed the world’s race as a finisher.

The Future
Starting from October 2018, after recovering from his injury, he eagerly got back to training program hardly, follow his dream, and achieve his goals. Mohamed have several plans for his future. The most significant plans are to participate in:

- ITU Grand Final Abu Dhabi, UAE 2022
